We assist you through the emotional roller-coaster you may find yourself on when downsizing and relocating a lifetime of possessions. Our services will give you the confidence to overcome any barrier you may encounter during the moving process and beyond.
What We Do...
Downsized Living specialises in helping seniors (and others) on the Gold Coast transition from their family homes and larger residences to smaller accommodation and residential care facilities. Moving house is one of the most stressful experiences in a person’s life, especially as we get older.
We are here to assist you with all the planning, coordinating and supervision of your move, making it as easy and worry-free as possible.
We will work closely with you and your family to ensure a smooth, stress-free process. You are more than welcome to play an active role in the process or sit back and be an interested observer.
We leave nothing to chance. Services such as electricity and phone connections are transferred from one location to the next so you can pick up where you left off. We ensure your furniture fits your new space by accurately measuring every room. We can help you decide where pieces you no longer need or can take with you may go. Their second chance might be with family, friends, your local charity or with a new family. We can arrange donations to charity and can assist you to sell some items.
Following the sort and declutter process, we can assist with packing up your home and unpacking in your new environment, including the supply of all packing material.
