Eyes for Life Canberra (EFLC) is a not-for-profit charity that supports people with eyesight problems to identify barriers and develop strategies that enable them to maintain their independence and to fully participate in the activities of everyday life. EFLC was launched in 2021 as an initiative from Canberra Blind Society. The Society has provided services to people of all ages with vision impairments since 1958. As part of this initiative, recently diagnosed patients will have a place to go for support, information, advice and assessments, advice on home modifications, training in daily living skills, and advice on equipment and visual aid products.
