Lifespan Health is a mental health service dedicated to improving the wellbeing of our clients, employees, and all stakeholders. Our psychologists are trained and experienced in providing emotional support to older adults where they understand the unique issues that arise as we age. We believe that all people have the right to feel emotionally well, and we have repeatedly seen the benefits for older adults who receive psychological interventions. For example, people may have lost a loved one, be adjusting to changes in their living circumstances or physical/cognitive abilities, be a full time carer, or have increased anxiety after falls. There are many challenges facing people as they age, and our psychologists can assist people to navigate their way through them to help them feel better. We have clinics in Caloundra, Maroochydore, and Gympie and can offer telehealth appointments for people outside of those locations. We may provide in-home visits, if within our region.
Lifespan Health psychologists also provide training for aged care staff that helps develop their skills in managing their clients as well as building resilience in themselves.
